Nina is a multidisciplinary researcher with substantial experience in the climate change sector, with a focus on urban development in low- and middle-income countries. Nina’s expertise lies in conducting impactful research to support programming, policy development and resilience-building, with the aim of promoting more equitable and sustainable outcomes.

Current work

Focused on marginalised urban communities and local governments, Nina is dedicated to supporting inclusive planning processes and co-produced responses to urban poverty and climate breakdown, with a vision to forge more equitable and sustainable cities. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including grassroots movements and civil society organisations, Nina's work involves conducting innovative research and providing strategic support on climate change mitigation and adaptation in cities, with a focus on urban justice and resilience.
