Leonard Mulase

Leonard is a monitoring and evaluation specialist with over 10 years of experience in health, democracy and governance, and natural resource management.

He has worked with a range of organisations including Jhpiego, USAID, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs, Ipas Africa Alliance, National Council of Churches of Kenya and the African Population and Health Research Center.

Leonard has extensive experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems, conducting evaluations, and designing and delivering capacity-building activities for monitoring and evaluation practitioners. He is particularly skilled in promoting data and information use for decision-making.

Current work

Leonard is responsible for the development of theories of change to help IIED and partners understand desired outcomes, the activities needed to achieve those outcomes, and how those activities are linked together.
