The unjust transition

There is growing evidence that the switch to ‘greener’ supply chains, renewable energy generation, and urban decarbonisation is making lives worse for many people. Rather than a just transition, inequality is being exacerbated.

We need to reveal the extent of this problem – by showing examples, through economic analysis or by supporting campaigns for policy and investor action.
