At IIED we strive to make our research and policy message accessible. We have a strong commitment to the free dissemination of these resources to low and middle income countries. IIED invites individuals and organisations from non-OECD countries to subscribe to this scheme.

This twice-yearly journal provides researchers, NGO staff and professionals in Africa, Asia and Latin America with the chance to write about their work, present their ideas and debate on issues.
Participatory learning and Action
Provides a forum for all those engaged in participatory work to share their experiences, reflections and innovations with others. The series is informal and seeks to publish frank accounts, address issues, encourage innovation and act as a voice from the field.
Published in both French and English since 1988, Haramata has established itself as a valuable information and networking channel for people working for the sustainable development or dryland areas, mainly but not exclusively in Africa.
The quarterly printed bulletin covers global warming, climate change, sea-level rise and issues related to climate change and the developing world. Authorship by writers in developing countries is strongly encouraged. Free to subscribers in developing countries.
The Gatekeeper series highlights emerging issues and new perspectives in the fields of natural resource management (NRM), livelihoods and sustainable agriculture, that are particularly relevant for policymakers, researchers and planners.
